How To Unlock The JAK Thumper-656 FAST In MW3 And Warzone (2024)

The latest weekly challenges are now live in MW3, Warzone and Zombies for players to unlock a new reward. So we’re going to show players how to unlock the JAK Thumper-656 fast and complete all week 4 Season 4 challenges.

The latest season has seen new weapons and new Aftermarket rewards added to the game including this new one for the RGL-80 launcher.

Described as having “an improved long barrel for an infantry-carried grenade launcher. Fires projectiles at higher velocities and distances. Compatible with a wider variety of launcher projectiles.”

Here’s how to unlock it fast.

How To Unlock The JAK Thumper-656 FAST In MW3

Here’s a look at the multiplayer challenges on offer:

Week 4

Multiplayer

• Get 10 kills against Operators who are Blinded or Stunned
• Get 10 Operator kills with a Bomb Drone or Mosquito Drone
• Place top of the leaderboard 3 times
• Get 3 Operator double kills with Grenades or launchers
• Get 20 Operator kills while using explosive ammo
• Destroy 8 Aerial Killstreaks
• Get 3 Operator kills after Death

For this week’s challenge, I would recommend running the Modular Assault Rig vest that will give you 2 x Tacticals and Lethals as well as the ability to Scavenge extras off of dead bodies. Then opt to use Scavenger to resupply your launcher.

Weapons of choice are the KATT-AMR with explosive rounds equipped and the RGL-80.

On the KATT-AMR I used:

• Muzzle: VT-7 Suppressor XL
• Barrel: Perdition 24″ Short Barrel
• Bolt: Ephemeral Quickbolt
• Rear Grip: Singer LR Grip
• Ammunition: .50 Cal Explosive

I would also equip the SAM Turret killstreak.

Jump into Small Map Moshpit and you’ll want to throw stun or flash grenades into high-traffic areas and where the enemy spawns.

You’ll then want to cook your grenades (be aware the cook time is 5 seconds max) and throw them towards clusters of enemies and high-traffic areas.

Then use your RGL-80 to unload on enemies and hopefully obtain a double kill. This challenge seems to be a bit bugged, so the grenade kills are super helpful.

At any given point, switch to the KATT-AMR and use the explosive rounds if you run low on RGL-80 ammo.

This will help you complete the following challenges:

• Get 10 kills against Operators who are Blinded or Stunned
• Get 3 Operator double kills with Grenades or launchers
• Get 20 Operator kills while using explosive ammo

There’s a possibility if you die in this process you may pick up a kill after death with your frag grenade. Which will count towards your ‘Get 3 Operator kills after Death’. Sometimes your RGL-80 will also help with this and if you’re working on the Mosquito Drone/Bomb Drone Challenge, there’s also a chance for this to help. I’d also recommend running the Cluster Mine and I.M.S as this will also help any potential post-death kills

While doing all this, you should complete the ‘Destroy 8 Aerial Killstreaks’ challenge as it will shoot down any UAVs or Counter UAVs while you focus on other tasks.

Once you’ve completed the ‘Destroy 8 Aerial Killstreaks’ switch to the Mosquito Drone or Bomb Drone killstreak. If you’re getting streak often, go for the Mosquito Drone, but the Bomb Drone is a bit more reliable.

Over time, you should naturally get enough kills to complete the ‘Get 10 Operator kills with a Bomb Drone or Mosquito Drone’ challenge.

Now you should switch to your sweatiest class possible.

I ran the below class with the Superi 46 and COR-45 using the following attachments.

• Superi 46
  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Houndguard Heavy Barrel
  • Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
  • Rear Grip: Harrow Palmrest Grip
  • Magazine: 40 Round Mag
• COR-45
  • Muzzle: HMRES Mod Suppressor XS
  • Laser: Verdant Hook Mounted Laser
  • Rear Grip: Akimbo COR-45
  • Magazine: 30 Round Mag
  • Ammunition: .45 Auto High Grain

It’s also a good class for completing the Stunned/Blinded challenge if you still haven’t finished it.

You want to sweat as much as you can to earn lots of points. The best modes to do this in are Team Deathmatch because all you need to worry about is getting kills and Hardpoint as you just need to sit on the hill for as long as possible.

I’d also switch killstreaks, if you’re still aiming to complete the Mosquito Drone challenge, use a Counter-UAV and a Cluster Mine. If you’re not, swap the Mosquito for a UAV.

You need to finish top of the lobby leaderboard, not just on your team. So you’re going to need to put in a shift!

How To Unlock The JAK Thumper-656 FAST In Warzone

Here’s a look at the Warzones challenges on offer:

Battle Royale

• In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the North-West Region
• In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the Eastern Region
• In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the Southern Region
• In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the Central Region
• In Warzone place in the top 10 5 times
• In Warzone complete 15 contracts
• In Warzone get 10 Operator kills or kill assists with recommended weapons

For this challenge, I’d recommend jumping into Battle Royale Duos with no fill-on.

When the game starts, look at where the plan is heading and try to land in one of the regions furthest away to avoid enemy contact so you can loot in peace.

Opening crates, duffel bags, cash registers, medicine cabinets and anything else that can contain loot will make progress to the first four challenges.

Getting 10 Operator kills should be easy enough from here, if you come into contact with enemies you should bag a few kills and then jump into Resurgence to finish the challenge.

Placing in the top 10 should happen naturally happen just by avoiding too many enemy gunfights. If you’re struggling with this challenge, you can try dropping into Quads where there are less teams so you can reach the top 10 quicker. If you want to do this with a bit more action, try Map Rotation solos for some respawn action.

To complete the contract challenge, be on the lookout for Scavenger contracts or Intel contracts. If you jump into Resurgence, you can also utilise Bounty contracts and have opponents poach the bounty for you.

Zombies

• Get 300 kills with Frost Damage with a recommended weapon
• Get 300 explosive damage kills with a recommended weapon
• Get 2 Warlord kills with a recommended weapon
• Get 5 kills with a Monkey Bomb 5 times
• Get 300 fire damage kills with a recommended weapon
• Destroy 15 Counter UAVs in Mercenary Camps
• Get 50 kills with a recommended melee weapon while frenzied guard is active
