This recipe is as simple as 1, 2, 3! This is one of our most popular recipes on both Pinterest (follow us HERE!) and Instagram (check out our page HERE!). All you need to have these bites in your own freezer is:
Maple Syrup (this is an organic option)
Peanut Butter (we love this kind!)
Oat Flour (check out this gluten free one)
And any other add-ins you want! We chose mini chocolate chips (these are vegan!),but you could add sprinkles, nuts, cookie crumbles, or even peanut butter cupsfor a delicious twist! As easy as this recipe is, why aren’t you in the kitchen yet?
If no-bake, healthy, & gluten free desserts are your thing, check out some of our other favorite recipes:
Cake Batter Cookie Dough Protein Bites
Cosmic Brownies
Chickpea Cookie Dough
And trust us, they taste as good as they sound! No one will know that they’re made with good-for-you ingredients and they’re SO easy to throw together!
Keep this dough in the freezer and break off a piece anytime you want a guilt-free tasty treat.

Prep Time 20 minutes mins
Total Time 20 minutes mins
Course Dessert, Snack
Servings 18 pieces
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 cup oat flour
- Any extra additions we used mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Place the peanut butter in a mixing bowl and set aside. In a saucepan, heat the maple syrup on medium-high until it begins to bubble.
Remove from heat and pour into the peanut butter. Whisk until creamy.
Stir in the oat flour. Mix until combined.
Let the dough chill completely, then add any toppings (If you do not let the dough chill, your add-ins could melt!).
To form, press the chilled dough into a lined loaf pan. Carefully remove the dough (so that it keeps its shape) and flip it over (so the rounded corners face up). Using a knife, cut slits into the dough that almost reach the bottom, creating 18 pieces that are connected on the bottom. Freeze.
Once frozen, you will be able to break off a piece every time you need a treat!

It’s up to you! We love them in the freezer not only because we can break the pieces apart but they taste delicious frozen! If you like them better in the fridge and are enjoying them within a week or two then you should store them there!

My best friend is vegan and we are taking a road trip. Instead of spending a bunch of money on lunch in an expensive town, we are making vegan bento boxes. This will be a perfect little treat!I substituted peanut butter with almond butter, changes the texture but it’s great and gives a nice chew!

The first time I made it I did not heat the maple syrup and it came out really wel. This time I used coconut flour and heated the maple syrup. It is very crumbly and won’t hold together. Is there a chance I cooked the syrup too long ?
I love this recipe though!

Hi there! It could be a result of using coconut flour, as we have not tried out this substitution. Also, be sure you’re measuring the flour correctly (check out this post) – packing in the flour could result in a dry dough! Hope this helps you out.

Coconut flour soaks up liquids, so you would have to use less of it than the recipe states for flour or add more moisture somehow.

This looks great! All flours are hard to find during this pandemic, so I’ll try this with amaranth flour that I happen to have on hand. It has a slightly nutty taste and is packed with vital nutrients. Will let you know how it turns out!

After the dough is completely chilled (check out instruction #4). If the chocolate chips are added when the dough is warm, they’ll melt!
